Job Description:

As the Platform Product Management Leader for Assure Platform within DXC Technology’s Insurance Software and BPS (ITS) business, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the platform strategy while meeting the evolving needs of our clients and business.

With multiple products across diverse product lines, this role provides the opportunity to drive platform innovation, develop shared services, establish reusable capabilities, and shape the overall strategy for Platform Architecture and Services within a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assure Platform Product Management

  • Lead the strategic planning, product backlog, and roadmap execution for the Assure Platform, including its services, architecture, and shared capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client needs, and market demands.
  • Define and maintain the platform services portfolio, including:• Ecosystem Partnerships – Collaborate with Partnership, Marketing, and Leadership stakeholders to identify strategic partners and establish the standards, security requirements, governance criteria, and capabilities necessary to support the partner ecosystem.
  • APIs & Integrations – Own the catalog of APIs and integrations, including roadmap and backlog management. Provide strategic input and recommendations to improve interoperability, reuse, and platform adoption.
  • Service-Oriented Products & Solutions – Create and maintain a catalog of service-oriented capabilities, including business components, functional services, shared services, and macro- and micro-services.
  • UX/UI Design Systems – Oversee and drive the evolution of the platform’s UX/UI capabilities and design systems to promote consistency, usability, and reuse across products.
  • AI & Data Services – Define and support the integration of AI and data services into the platform, ensuring they address business and customer needs and align with the overall platform strategy.
  • Cloud Services – Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure IaaS capabilities effectively support platform requirements, scalability, security, and customer needs.
  • Tools & Accelerators – Manage the catalog and backlog of tools, accelerators, and reusable capabilities that increase development efficiency and accelerate customer and product adoption.
  • Reference Architecture – Establish, publish, and monitor reusable architectural patterns and standards that promote consistency, scalability, and efficient delivery across the platform.

Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Manage and develop a team of 4–8 product management professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity, prioritize strategic initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of platform capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning across the product management organization.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations for the team.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and other measures to evaluate platform, product, and service performance.
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor product and platform metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Continuously evaluate platform adoption, usage, quality, customer value, and operational performance to drive ongoing optimization.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute long-term platform and product strategies, objectives, and investment priorities that support business growth and profitability.
  • Translate market trends, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and business objectives into actionable platform strategies and roadmaps.
  • Champion product management best practices, leveraging industry expertise and market insights to strengthen DXC’s position in the insurance technology market.
  • Lead platform and product launch activities, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies, stakeholder alignment, and successful adoption by target customers.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the platform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including several years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong technical background with at least 3 years of leadership experience managing a SaaS platform portfolio or comparable technology platform.
  • Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios and driving product innovation in a fast-paced, enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience defining and executing platform strategies, roadmaps, product backlogs, shared services, APIs, integrations, and reusable technology capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make informed product and investment decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, service-oriented architectures, and modern product development practices.
  • Proficiency with product management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
