Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building AI-powered consumer products.
  • Experience working in personal finance, including financial planning, investing etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex product initiatives forward in ambiguous and rapidly evolving AI contexts.
  • Proven experience in designing, managing, and continuously refining rigorous evaluation methods and success metrics for AI models and AI-powered products.
  • Experience working on legal or policy issues related to technology products.
  • Demonstrable, extensive technical knowledge and product experience with advanced AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs).

In this role, you will have an opportunity to join DeepMind’s Verticals and Services team, working across Google and DeepMind to drive improvement for consumer verticals (starting with consumer finance). US: $217000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Own the roadmap for new consumer verticals across GDM by identifying and prioritizing high-value use cases to address.
  • Partner with AI Research teams to test, tune, and productionize new model capabilities related to consumer verticals - e.g., for finance (e.g., agentic behaviour, multi-file input, financial logic/reasoning).
  • Experiment rapidly with prompting patterns, user flows, and agentic harnesses to demonstrate capabilities and discover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Google products (and third-parties) to re-invent, prioritize, and build AI-powered experiences for users (e.g., for consumer finance).
