Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Product Manager, based in the UAE, to join our ever-growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in product ownership, project management and technology, with the ability to turn business needs into clear product requirements and deliver digital products from idea through to launch.
The role will focus on owning the product roadmap, managing the product backlog, coordinating developers, designers and business stakeholders, and delivering high-quality digital healthcare products, including our online pharmacy, telehealth and e-commerce platforms, for our international markets across the UK, Europe, the USA and the Gulf region.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our online pharmacy, telehealth and e-commerce platforms, in line with business objectives and market needs.
- Gather, analyse and prioritise business, user and stakeholder requirements, and translate them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and product specifications.
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog so the development team is always working on the highest-value tasks.
- Plan and manage product projects end to end, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, QA, pharmacy, clinical, marketing, operations and customer service teams to deliver products on time and to a high standard.
- Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating progress, priorities and changes clearly.
- Oversee the development of web platforms, mobile applications and e-commerce stores, including integrations with prescribing, pharmacy, payment and delivery systems.
- Work with compliance teams to ensure products meet healthcare and data protection requirements in each market (e.g. UAE health data laws, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Coordinate testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality before release.
- Monitor product performance, user feedback and key metrics, and conduct market and competitor research to improve features and the user experience.
- Prepare product documentation, release notes and regular progress reports for management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager, or in a related role within a technology environment.
- Proven hands-on experience in product ownership, including managing product backlogs, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Strong project management experience, including planning, tracking and delivering multiple projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Solid technical background with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle, web and mobile applications, APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO, PMP) is a plus.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or equivalent software.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Experience in healthcare, online pharmacy, telehealth, e-commerce or digital health platforms is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English
