Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and software design expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the software architecture and delivering software solutions aligned with our development processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Architects, System Engineering, and Quality teams, to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments. Additionally, you’ll mentor and guide a team of Software Designers, ensuring alignment with best practices and applicable standards.

You’ll specifically take care of designing and specifying software architecture, but also leading the development of high-quality software solutions.

We’ll look to you for:

• Specifying and designing software architecture in alignment with project requirements

• Technically leading a team of Software Designers

• Interfacing with System, Project, Product, and Quality teams to ensure QCD commitments

• Driving the adoption of DevOps practices and cloud technologies

• Ensuring software development adheres to applicable standards and best practices

• Collaborating with geographically distributed teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• At least 10 years of experience in software design and development using object-oriented methodologies

• Experience in DevOps and cloud technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker

• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience in developing distributed web applications and microservices

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Experience with Web APIs, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and MinIO

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line interface and networking concepts

• Hands-on experience with COTS tools like GitLab/GitHub, SVN, ClearQuest, Eclipse, and Synergy

• Good understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a global, multicultural environment
