Sr Business Systems Analyst - FinanceSr Business Systems Analyst-Finance
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst – Finance to serve as a strategic partner between Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders. This role requires a strong combination of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion techno-functional expertise, excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to lead initiatives from discovery and solution design through implementation and post-production support.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, trusted business partner, and hands-on problem solver who can translate business needs into technology solutions, lead projects end-to-end, and provide ongoing operational support while driving continuous improvement across Finance systems and processes globally.
JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Audit, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and define solutions.
- Serve as the techno-functional subject matter expert for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Finance applications.
- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, process design, and solution recommendations.
- Create business requirements, functional specifications, technical requirements, process flows, test plans, and training materials.
- Drive projects from discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment through post-production support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage enhancement requests.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Desire to learn new systems and research new functionality independently
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting Finance systems.
- Strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Proven experience leading projects from design through deployment and support.
- Ability to perform data analysis and write SQL queries.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with global Finance organizations and multi-country operations.
