Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Enterprise Systems and Data Analyst to support the effective use of enterprise applications, data, and reporting tools to improve operations and decision-making. This role bridges business needs and technology solutions, ensuring systems and data practices are reliable, practical, and aligned with Agency priorities. The position strengthens workflows, supports accurate information, and helps stakeholders use technology effectively to advance service delivery and the Agency’s mission.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with Agency leaders and stakeholders to identify business needs, define priorities, and translate operational objectives into comprehensive requirements that support effective system solutions, reporting, and service delivery.
- Elicits, documents, validates, and communicates requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis to ensure solutions accurately reflect business processes and user needs.
- Analyzes business processes, data, and system functionality to recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen reporting accuracy, and maximize the value of Agency technology investments.
- Supports project plans and executes by identifying milestones, phases, dependencies, risks, and action steps; tracking progress; communicating updates; resolving barriers; and recommending corrective actions when needed.
- Develops technical reports and dashboards by collecting, analyzing, validating, and summarizing information in collaboration with program administrators and other stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, useful, and aligned with operational needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support Agency operations, technology initiatives, and continuous improvement priorities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Data Science, Information Systems Management and Technology, or relatable discipline.
- Two (2) years of related experience in a business analysis and/or business intelligence capacity, including all aspects of process, including data analysis, databases (SQL Server), business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), data mapping, metrics optimization and report creation.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify patterns, and recommend practical solutions that support business and technology decisions.
- Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI, PowerAutomate, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, and related web-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and tools.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information, document requirements, and share insights accurately with business, technical, and leadership audiences.
- Collaborative interpersonal style, with the ability to build effective working relationships with staff, senior management, clients, visitors, and vendors while demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when analyzing data, documenting requirements, validating reports, and supporting decisions that rely on reliable information.
- Self-directed and flexible work style, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing Agency needs.
- Sound judgment and professionalism, with the ability to act with discretion, tact, and integrity when handling sensitive information, competing priorities, and varied stakeholder needs.

- Remaining in a stationary position, which may involve standing or sitting for extended periods, as required to complete tasks or duties associated with the role.
- Engaging in communication with others to exchange information, which may involve speaking, listening, writing, or using electronic communication methods to ensure clear and effective understanding. This includes both verbal and non-verbal interactions with colleagues, clients, or external parties.
