Full description

CrossCountry Consulting is the transformation partner for the Office of the CFO. As a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, emerging growth market leaders, and private equity sponsors, we combine deep domain expertise with the power of data, AI, and technology to modernize workflows, drive human-centered change, and maximize transaction value. Grounded in our Core Values, we are committed to solving today's most complex challenges while delivering a better experience for our clients, our people, and our communities. When you join CrossCountry, you become part of a team that believes in collaboration, generosity, and the drive to help our clients work smarter, build resiliency, and prepare for the future.

We’re building a modern enterprise data warehouse on Snowflake and need a BI Analyst who works directly with the business to turn data into decisions. You’ll partner with stakeholders to scope their reporting needs, build dashboards, and teach teams how to use them. This role is as much about relationships and enablement as it is about building.

\n

What You'll Do:

• Partner with stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations to understand their goals and translate them into clear requirements and KPIs

• Scope dashboard projects: define success criteria, prioritize requests, set timelines, and manage expectations

• Build, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI (or Tableau) that are accurate, intuitive, and actionable

• Write SQL against Snowflake to explore data, validate results, and support ad hoc analysis

• Work with Data Engineering to shape the semantic layer and data models, define KPI and calculation logic, flag data quality issues, and improve report performance and Snowflake costs

• Build the business definitions and synonyms that help AI tools (like Snowflake Cortex Analyst or Power BI Copilot) answer questions correctly

• Test AI-generated reports and text-to-SQL results against known-correct answers before they go live

• Run training sessions, workshops, and office hours that build self-service skills across the business

• Create user guides, metric definitions, and walkthroughs so business users can trust and navigate the data

• Gather feedback after launch, track adoption, and iterate on dashboards

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years in business intelligence, analytics, FP&A, or a similar role

• Strong dashboarding skills in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable BI tool

• Working SQL proficiency (joins, aggregations, CTEs, basic window functions)

• Demonstrated ability to run requirements-gathering conversations and turn vague asks into scoped deliverables

• Hands-on use of AI tools in analytical work, with the judgment to evaluate output quality and spot unsupported answers.

• Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, or demos for non-technical audiences

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain data clearly

• Strong attention to detail and a habit of validating numbers before sharing them

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse

• Familiarity with DAX and dimensional modeling concepts

• Experience writing business definitions, synonyms, or test cases for AI-driven or natural-language analytics tools.

• Background in finance, FP&A, or sales operations

• Exposure to dbt, Fivetran, or modern data stack tools

• Experience building a data community or champions program

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
