Full description

Do you want to work at the intersection of strategy, project execution, and international collaboration? Are you excited by the opportunity to help shape a newly established Project Management Office while working closely with business leaders across Europe?

At Abacus Medicine Group, we are looking for a Project Manager to support the development of a new PMO spanning our Parallel Import (PI) businesses in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, as well as our Clinical Trial Services (CTS) business.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious project professional who wants to take ownership, work across functions and markets, and help create the foundation for how projects are managed and delivered in a growing international organization.

Your responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will play a central role in driving strategic and operational projects from idea to implementation. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, aligned with business priorities, and create value for our markets.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects across PI markets and CTS from initiation through implementation.
  • Ensure project delivery is aligned with strategic priorities, PMO standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Bring together stakeholders across different markets and functions to create alignment and drive progress.
  • Support colleagues with project management methodologies, templates, and tracking tools.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, resource challenges, and potential delays.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Capture key learnings from completed projects and help build a strong project management foundation for the future.

Your team and stakeholders

You will become part of a newly established PMO function reporting directly to the Strategy & Project Manager. As one of the first members of the team, you will have a unique opportunity to influence how the PMO develops and operates going forward. You will work closely with leaders and specialists across Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations, and other business functions within PI and CTS, building a broad international network across the organization.

What we are looking for

We imagine you are a structured and proactive professional who enjoys turning ideas into action. You are comfortable working independently, but you also know how to create engagement and momentum among stakeholders with different perspectives and priorities.

Your qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience within project management, management consulting, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Project management certification is an advantage.

Your skills and competencies

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent planning and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates and create stakeholder alignment.
  • A proactive mindset with a natural tendency to take ownership and drive solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
