Position Summary
PreCon Precast Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations & Systems Analyst to support business operations through reporting, systems administration, work order management, and cross-functional project coordination. This role works closely with Operations, Maintenance, IT, Purchasing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly labour reports for Production and Construction operations.
- Manage hardware work orders, including setup, tracking, labour hour allocation, and closure.
- Support the administration and ongoing enhancement of the Maintenance App and related maintenance processes.
- Assist with the implementation and support of business systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide user support and training for JD Edwards (JDE).
- Supporting operations on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Production Planning System (PPS).
- Collaborate closely with the Information Technology team on projects, system improvements, and operational initiatives.
- Serve as a backup resource for Purchasing activities as required.
- Develop ad hoc reports, data analysis, and special projects to support business decision-making.
- Work with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Other duties as may be assigned based on business needs.
Technical Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing analytics is considered an asset.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
- Experience with workforce management software is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Business Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
