Malwarebytes is looking for..

A technical communicator to join our Support organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, enjoys collaborating with other people and organizations, and can explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.

*This will be a 100% remote position working closely with team members in Europe.  If located in the US, would need to be able to work earlier hours to accommodate this time zone.

Compensation Ranges:

CA Bay Area: $29.33/hr - $36.06/hr

Region 2: $25/hr - $34.62/hr

Region 3: $24.04/hr - $33.65/hr

Ireland: €14.42/hr – 21.05/hr

What You Will Do:

  • Work with Malwarebytes product managers, engineers, and technical support agents to create product guides and self-help articles for our customers.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and technically accurate.
  • Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets the standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and create content to improve issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a strong knowledge-sharing community within support.
  • Work with support, engineering, and product management teams to gather data and information.
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and SEO optimization.

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in a technical communication role.
  • Experience writing for SaaS, mobile, and desktop B2C companies or products.
  • Knowledge of AI
  • Self-starter who isn't afraid to ask for help and questions.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience writing content for both home and business users, and Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and topics.
  • HTML and CSS skills.
  • Search engine optimization experience.
  • Comfortable creating clean, on-brand graphics and screenshots to support written documentation.
