UX Designer

About the role:

As a UX Designer to the Suzhou RVC design team within Versuni's Innovation Robotics division, you will be instrumental in creating visually compelling and functionally superior home appliances, robotic products and APP that resonate deeply with users. This role offers the unique opportunity to evolve, balancing day-to-day creative execution with the broader vision necessary to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Your work will be pivotal in shaping user experiences, leveraging design principles that emphasize sustainability, ergonomics, and cutting-edge aesthetics. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, marketing, R&D, and manufacturing—you will influence product development pipelines from inception through market launch, ensuring coherence with brand values and customer expectations.

The impact you’ll make:

• Providing comprehensive support across multiple design projects and strategic initiatives within the RVC programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timelines.
• Delivering high-quality UX design outputs throughout the complete Solution Development Process, from initial concept development to final product launch, emphasizing innovation, usability. 
• Taking charge of smaller project segments or novel initiatives, adapting leadership style to project complexity and leveraging your expertise to foster successful outcomes. 
•  Conducting in-depth consumer and competitor research to unearth user needs and market gaps, guiding design strategies that build distinctive, value-driven products.
• Utilizing a variety of design techniques—AI, Figma, and storytelling—to craft compelling concepts that communicate design intent with clarity and impact. 
• Ensuring brand integrity by applying established UX design language guidelines consistently across all product touchpoints. 
• Collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary design teams and project members from marketing, R&D, and supply chain to facilitate cohesive product development. 
• Reviewing and critiquing prototypes and production samples rigorously, providing detailed feedback to guarantee fidelity to design specifications and quality standards. 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

•  A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX Design or a closely related field, complemented by a robust portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility and innovative problem-solving skills.
• At least 5 8 years of relevant experience within the home appliances, consumer electronics sectors, UI design showcasing an acute sense of aesthetics, proportion, detail, and end-user usability. • Proficiency in a broad array of design tools and methodologies, including Figma, Axure, Xmind, AI, PS, Sketch( AE& C4D preferred). 
• A professional demeanor characterized by independence, initiative, continuous learning, and a collaborative spirit fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• A bold, innovative mindset that consistently introduces fresh ideas and perspectives to the design process, coupled with readiness to engage in travel for visits to prototype workshops, suppliers, and industry exhibitions.
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, capable of articulating design narratives effectively through verbal presentations and written documentation.
