At Portless, we specialize in global delivery solutions for SMBs and enterprise merchants, enabling businesses to provide direct-from-factory delivery from manufacturing hubs like China to destinations across the world. As a Product Manager, you will shape our product roadmap and strategy, working closely with customers and internal teams to drive the evolution of our logistics platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to own the product lifecycle and directly impact a rapidly growing business that values customer-centricity and bold, strategic thinking.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment with business goals. You'll collaborate closely with our VP of Product and the Engineering team, managing customer-facing sales and solutions support. Your responsibilities will include leading product discovery, translating business requirements into product features, and managing B2B integrations and operations with our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute the product roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and market needs.
  • Prioritize the product backlog to ensure the highest value features are delivered to customers.
  • Lead customer-facing sales and solutions support, working directly with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Conduct product discovery and gather insights from customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to refine and improve the product.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and engineering team to drive product vision and ensure timely delivery of product features.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for user experience and customer-focused design.
  • Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to continuously iterate and improve the product.
  • Manage B2B integrations and support operational needs, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics solutions for our customers.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Direct experience working with customers to gather insights, resolve issues, and translate needs into product features.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering and sales, to achieve product goals.
  • Skilled in creating and managing a product roadmap, defining product strategy, and prioritizing the product backlog based on business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Self-starter with a "0 to 1" mindset who takes ownership, initiative, and accountability.
