Job Summary

FreeWheel is looking for a Product Manager to support and help deliver a market-informed roadmap and strategy for a wide array of buy-side capabilities, with a focus on our core ad serving application capabilities.

You'll immerse yourself in the Connected TV (CTV) market to help make us the best platform in the world to buy CTV advertising. Working alongside colleagues throughout Comcast Advertising and FreeWheel, you'll help deliver innovative products that help customers better deliver their ads to the right audiences worldwide.

Job Description

This role will work on the Buyer Cloud (fka Beeswax) buying platform within the FreeWheel product suite. Buyer Cloud's driving vision is to be the best platform in the world for buying CTV advertising. Buyer Cloud is an easy-to-use, massively scaled, high-availability and highly flexible platform used by buyers worldwide. We offer our customers the most extensible and transparent advertising platform in the world and process millions of transactions per second. 

We are looking for a Product Manager to support the development and delivery of a market-informed roadmap and strategy for a wide array of buy-side capabilities. You'll immerse yourself in the Connected TV market to help make us the best platform in the world to buy CTV advertising. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Support the conception, design, and implementation of capabilities that offer our customers unique opportunities to buy CTV advertising, with a particular emphasis on ad serving, filtering, targeting, and so on. You’ll be working on the most core and important parts of a Demand Side Platform (DSP) ad delivery. 
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to guide products to launch and beyond 
  • Work with stakeholders, internal and external, to help drive high-quality decisions and outcomes 
  • Help showcase product launches in release trainings, client emails, and company webinars 

Who You Are: 

  • 2+ years of product management experience, ideally on the buy-side of advertising products 
  • Familiarity with, and interest in, building and scaling a DSP 
  • Some exposure to Connected TV and television advertising, or real time bidding platforms, is a plus 
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements 
  • Experience working directly with engineering stakeholders 
  • Growing track record of taking product initiatives through the full lifecycle 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust communications style based on your audience 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing product management activities, defining product concepts, and justifying product-related expenditures
  • Assisting other product managers in solving semi-complex problems and guiding them through larger project initiatives
  • Managing profit and loss or budgetary aspects for assigned products, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Evaluating market trends, consumer needs, and technological advancements to inform product strategy
  • Developing detailed product features, requirements, and implementation plans, prioritizing based on market needs
  • Envisioning new product features through participation in cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Coordinating with external vendors and strategic partners to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of product initiatives
  • Reviewing and adjusting pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness and company profitability
  • Conducting periodic margin analyses to identify opportunities for product improvement and cost optimization
  • Ensuring seamless coordination among cross-functional teams to achieve product launch and lifecycle objectives
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

New York Pay Range: $125,204.74 - $187,807.12

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
