Windows Support Engineer (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Work Mode: Hybrid

Employment type: Contract

Experience Level: 3–5 years

We are seeking an experienced Windows Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise Windows environments, ensuring system reliability and performance in collaboration with technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
  • Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and support virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Support cloud environments including AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, and connectivity.
  • Support storage technologies such as NAS, SAN, RAID, and NFS.
  • Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Support backup, recovery, and data protection activities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and technical teams to resolve system issues.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Diploma or higher in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Mandarin communication skills are mandatory.
  • Experience with at least one virtualisation platform: VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of storage technologies (NAS, SAN, RAID, NFS).

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Microsoft, AWS, Azure, CCNA, or CCNP certifications.
  • Experience with Commvault or other backup and data protection solutions.
  • Experience in enterprise infrastructure support environments.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
