As a Project Manager Battery Storage (BESS), you will play a key role in the implementation and commissioning of Second Foundation Group’s battery storage portfolio. You will work closely with internal teams as well as with project developers, suppliers, and service providers to develop innovative solutions and advance sustainable battery storage projects.

What would you work on?

  • A completed degree in engineering, such as industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience managing large-scale projects, ideally involving the planning and execution of energy systems or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy and battery storage technologies.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured, independent and detail-oriented way of working and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, combined with confidence, assertiveness and a people-first mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • German at C2/native level and very good English skills for working with international teams.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across EMEA, with a valid Class B driving licence.
