About the Role:
A corporate financial analyst II is responsible for management and financial reporting, analysis of business trends and results, corporate financial analysis and other duties as assigned.
- Assist the finance manager and other analysts with models forecasting business line results, new product proposals, mergers and acquisitions, capital and long term planning, and other ad hoc analyses requested by senior/executive management
- Independently develop forecasting and business models to support business line and financial management requests
- Review financial trends to determine additional business opportunities or risks
- Make recommendations for corrective actions as necessary and appropriate
- Develop management reports for business unit managers and the financial services department providing insight into performance and performance trends.
- Provide training and consultation regarding management information systems to users
- Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding of the corporate data warehouse and methods for accurately reporting management and financial information
- Develop and maintain executive- and board-level presentations
- Ensure that project output is useful, timely, and acceptable in order to meet needs and expectations for quality, project objectives, budget, and timeframes
- Establish and maintain effective rapport with all levels of employees
- With and without Finance Manager assistance, create clear and accurate presentations for senior management and the board of directors highlighting financial plans, results, and trends
- May assist in special projects requiring handling of highly confidential and sensitive material and information
- Other responsibilities as assigned

- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
- Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:
- 3 years — of experience in an analytical role (Required)
- Skills in spreadsheet preparation, word processing, presentation, and database management and reporting software
- Organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as accomplish work assignments and sometimes tight schedules
- Developing analytical skills

- Occasional travel
The pay range for this role is $60,000.00 to $110,000.00.
The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
Primary Location: Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s).
