Full description

The Senior Financial Analyst - Site Operations will partner with site leadership to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. Through forecasting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, this role will identify opportunities to enhance profitability, optimize costs, and contribute to the overall success of the site.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify and analyze trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis
  • Identify and report changes in methods and materials
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of reports and tools
  • Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Partner with site leadership to drive financial performance and operational decisions.
  • Lead monthly close, reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, productivity, spending, and inventory performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Develop KPIs and provide insights to improve business results.
  • Evaluate capital investments and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance.
  • Track productivity savings and drive reporting process improvements through automation and standardization.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of finance, FP&A, accounting, or manufacturing finance experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain teams.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, business partnering, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to turn financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence experience preferred.
