REJIS is looking for an experienced Network Engineer Specialist who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, staying ahead of emerging technology, and helping build secure and reliable infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll be more than just the person who keeps the network running. You’ll serve as a technical expert for REJIS and our clients, help shape technology decisions, tackle challenging network and infrastructure issues, and share your knowledge by mentoring other IT professionals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security of complex WAN/LAN networks and infrastructure
  • Keep a close eye on network health and proactively identify and resolve issues before they become bigger problems
  • Serve as a technical expert and mentor to Network Engineers and other IT staff
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and help determine what solutions make sense for REJIS and our clients
  • Lead or support network and infrastructure projects, technology assessments, and client needs assessments
  • Help strengthen network security and maintain compliance with applicable requirements, including CJIS and MULES
  • Partner with vendors, clients, management, and internal teams to develop practical, effective technology solutions
  • Contribute to technology budgeting, vendor evaluations, and infrastructure planning

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 10–12 years of experience in a network technology environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN networking, infrastructure, network security, and related technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently
  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, or leadership to other IT professionals
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and legally required automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with project management, budgeting, client relationship management, and emerging network technologies

The minimum salary starts at $87,392.41/year with the possibility of additional compensation based on years of experience, demonstrated skills, certifications, and education.
