- Define project scope, objectives, and final deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop a full project execution plan covering timeline, interim milestones, budget, dependencies, and required resources.
- Own the day-to-day operational and tactical management of the project, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within approved budget.
- Issue periodic status reports to the project team on progress, key objectives, and potential risks.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate change-control techniques.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards defined in the project plan.
- Run periodic project reviews through to closure and final delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charter, schedule, status reports, and outcome evaluations against target deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate the project team, including internal members and external vendors.
- Provide direction and support to the team, fostering a collaborative delivery environment.
- Act as the primary liaison between the project team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Project Management.
- Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
- 7-10 years of practical experience in project management or PMO functions.
- Project management certification is preferred, such as PMP.
- Proven track record managing IT projects within an institutional / enterprise environment.
- Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques aligned with PMI standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to make decisions effectively under pressure.
- High proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
