As a Data Scientist for Process Mining on our Corporate Functions team, you ensure processes run efficiently, you bring clarity, and dependable support to the heart of the company.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role,
As a Data Scientist for Process Mining, you will use process mining to provide meaningful insights to our internal customers in order to support their choices to lead their future business. Furthermore, you will analyze diverse data sources to extract new and actionable discoveries.
- Describe process model requirements and identify IT
application data needed for implementation of process models, cooperating with business process experts and IT application owners. As well as taking ownership of the Process Mining project by managing the deliverables, timeline, and engaging with stakeholders to identify the needs and goals for each project
- Define, implement, and continuously improve process models using SQL and Infineon’s process mining platform (mpmX), while providing process mining consulting and
training, supporting Citizen Developers, and mentoring junior team members
- Proactively explore new areas of
application for Process Mining
- Assure availability, integrity, quality
and maintenance of developed data models and solutions in a dedicated process mining database
- Become familiar with business
processes built up in models across diverse functional domains and actively support the cross-functional stakeholders
- Identify process inefficiencies, automation opportunities and
compliance risks and support stakeholders in defining and tracking improvement actions based on process mining insights and potential quantitative benefits
- Provide support in scouting and
observation of process mining provider market as well as newest capabilities and trends, ensuring continuous exchange with other process mining developers
Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You are proactive, innovative, and technically skilled, with strong communication and consulting abilities. Your agile mindset and analytical approach help you deliver efficient, high-quality results.
- A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering or similar field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas, preferably in an international company
- Data manipulation skills for at least one well-known database system like Oracle or MS SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, dbt – Data Build Tool)
- Experience in at least one programming language
- Experience with Process Mining, data analysis and visualization is a big advantage
- Understanding of business processes and project management principles are a big advantage
- Fluency in English. German is an advantage
