About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Embedded Systems Engineer to Join NoorNation and play a vital role in our engineering team and help design and develop our next generation of connected agricultural devices. 

The role covers the complete embedded product development cycle, including electronic hardware design, PCB development, embedded firmware, sensor integration, communication protocols, IoT connectivity, and main device/gateway development.

Resposibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems and firmware for IoT products.
  • Analyze product and technical requirements to support embedded system design and implementation.
  • Contribute to hardware design, PCB development, component selection, and hardware-software integration.
  • Develop and maintain Linux-based embedded applications for IoT devices.
  • Develop, test, and optimize embedded software using C/C++, Python, and relevant technologies.
  • Integrate sensors, communication modules, and IoT devices with cloud platforms and backend systems.
  • Support product development, testing, troubleshooting, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, track engineering changes and testing results, and communicate project progress, technical challenges, risks, and recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience in Embedded Systems, Embedded Software, IoT, or a related engineering role.
  • Experience contributing to the design, development, testing, and integration of embedded products.
  • Proficiency in working with embedded Linux environments is considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and electronic hardware fundamentals.
  • Good knowledge of embedded programming using C/C++ and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Familiarity with PCB design, sensor integration, and hardware validation processes.
  • Understanding of IoT concepts and communication between embedded devices and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
