Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

The Operations Program Manager is responsible for providing support for development programs in the Endicott CAS business area. Efforts include being part of a multifunctional program team and supporting the Program Manager to plan and successfully execute to program milestones. Additionally, the selected candidate will schedule, plan and lead Operations efforts to achieve success on assigned programs. The Operations Program Manager will work closely with production, supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering teams to align activities with business objectives and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:• Program Management: Plan, execute, and oversee multiple operational programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of objectives
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of programs. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on program status, risks, and outcomes
- Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination between departments, including program management, supply chain, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless program execution
- Resource Management: Work with the managers to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to meet program objectives. Ensure that teams are properly staffed and supported to deliver results
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completion of programs. Address any issues that arise during program execution
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that expectations are met and that all parties are informed of program progress
Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Cross functional experience within different Operations roles.
- Experience with project scheduling techniques and cost tracking systems.
- Knowledge of military based quality system.
- Excellent team building skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years relevant experience.
- Experience with Development programs.
- Experience with Oracle based manufacturing planning system.
- Strong communications skills.
- Comfortable with one on one as well as large group discussions and ability to lead group discussions.
- Earned Value Management.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
