Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst, Business Development supports the effort to grow the North American Popeyes footprint through Development Agreements with new and existing franchisees. This includes sourcing new franchisees, building a bench of potential future franchisees and structuring and negotiating multi-year development agreements. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and project management skills, such as managing end-to-end project timelines and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This role leads the financial modeling, diligence and internal approval material as well as creating effective marketing resources to increase franchisee interest.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing development and expansion strategy for long-term growth of the Popeyes brand.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines for development agreements, ensuring timely completion of milestones, negotiating with prospective franchisees.
  • Market the expansion opportunity externally and attract the highest quality prospective franchisees.
  • Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective franchisees, including in-person Discovery Days with prospective franchisees.
  • Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to drive negotiations.
  • Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership.
  • Lead internal project approval processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Track and report project progress to leadership, providing regular updates on milestones, challenges, and resolutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in franchising or business development.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Technical excel modeling and financial modeling for scenario and deal structuring.
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners.
