Job Description

We are seeking to engage a proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Leaders team! Accelerate your career success through exposure to our clients across a wide range of industry sectors. 

Project Leaders is a service line of Colliers that provides expert, end-to-end development advisory and client-side project management services to a broad range of national and international clients. Our team are more than project managers – we lead, manage, and deliver comprehensive project management solutions across every stage of the property lifecycle. 

Some day-to-day tasks include:

  • Supporting Project Managers & Senior Project Managers to provide superior team performance for clients in all aspects of project delivery including scope, time, cost and profitability, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, health, safety and environment and procurement. 
  • Assisting with the operational delivery of projects in line with client and contractual requirements; program and procedures; and all relevant legislation. 
  • Contributing to the project process particularly in relation to methodology, tendering, processing of payments, consultant management and site activities. 
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of superior client and key stakeholder relationships. 
  • Assisting in meetings and minuting meetings as required.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within the industry. 
  • Ideally commenced or completed a degree or formal qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Design or Construction. 
  • Good communication skills both written and oral, ability to converse with all levels of staff. 
  • It is essential to be reasonable proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
