Software Developer (Python, NodeJS, Linux) - HM Kay Leong

Position: Python Developer (Node JS + Linux)

Contract Length: 1 year renewable

Job Overview:

As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Python, Node JS, and Linux. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and experience working with Node JS and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python, Node JS, and Linux

- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Python development

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

- Continuously improve and optimize existing codebase

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Python development

- Experience working with Node JS and Linux

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

- Proficient in writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code

- Experience with version control systems such as Git

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
