Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master

 

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our team in their choice of our Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX office locations.  Position Overview

This role serves as a hybrid Project Manager and Scrum Master supporting delivery teams across an enterprise ERP transformation program. The individual will facilitate Agile ceremonies, drive work decomposition, backlog refinement, and prioritization in Azure DevOps, manage dependencies and milestones, coordinate stakeholder communications, and help ensure delivery commitments are met.

This role is critical to maintaining alignment across teams, improving delivery predictability, and providing transparency into program progress, risks, and outcomes across complex, enterprise-scale workstreams.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

•      Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

•      Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement

•      Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and technical teams to decompose and prioritize work in Azure DevOps, ensuring a healthy, execution-ready backlog aligned to delivery commitments

•      Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, estimates, and dependencies are clearly defined and understood

•      Remove impediments, resolve blockers, and escalate risks and issues as needed

•      Coordinate execution across multiple teams and workstreams to drive alignment and delivery predictability

•      Facilitate cross-team dependency identification, management, and resolution

•      Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, sprint planning, and release planning activities

•      Manage and track project milestones, delivery commitments, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID)

•      Coordinate release readiness activities, deployment planning, and execution support across teams

•      Develop and maintain Azure DevOps dashboards, metrics, and reporting to provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes

•      Prepare and communicate delivery status, milestones, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership

•      Foster collaboration, accountability, and effective communication across business, product, engineering, and vendor teams

Drive adherence to Agile standards, delivery best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful delivery of ERP capabilities

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

•      No degree required with 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, including 5+ years in an Agile PM/Scrum Master capacity; OR

•      Degree preferred with 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, including 3+ years in an Agile PM/Scrum Master capacity

Required Technical Skills

•      Azure DevOps expertise, including backlog management, work item decomposition, sprint planning, tracking, dashboards, and reporting

•      Strong Agile and Scrum knowledge with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams; SAFe experience a plus

•      Project and program management experience, including milestone tracking, dependency management, RAID management, and stakeholder communications

•      Experience coordinating work across multiple teams and managing delivery against commitments

•      Technical understanding of the software product development lifecycle and digital product delivery practices

•      Proficiency with Microsoft collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365

•      Miro experience (nice to have)
