We're looking for a Product Designer who brings strong product thinking, exceptional visual craft, and a deep understanding of how thoughtful design can simplify complex problems. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to turn ambiguous opportunities into elegant, accessible, and production-ready experiences.

This is an opportunity to have meaningful ownership in an early-stage AI company and help shape products from concept through launch.

Roles and responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design, from understanding customer problems and defining experiences to exploring concepts, prototyping, and delivering polished, production-ready designs.

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to translate complex and ambiguous business opportunities into simple, intuitive customer experiences.

• Conduct user and product discovery to understand customer needs, workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

• Design clear, accessible, and trustworthy interfaces that balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and the unique considerations of AI-powered products.

• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs that communicate both the experience and the underlying product thinking.

• Contribute to and evolve JazzX AI's design system, including patterns, components, interaction standards, and visual guidelines that enable consistent product experiences as the platform scales.

• Collaborate with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure the final product reflects the intended experience and maintains a high bar for quality.

• Use feedback, customer insights, and product data to continuously iterate and improve the experience after launch.

• Help establish strong design practices and raise the overall UX and visual quality of the product organization.

Who you are

• You combine strong product thinking with exceptional visual and interaction design skills.

• You can take complex workflows, systems, or information and turn them into experiences that feel simple, intuitive, and easy to understand.

• You are comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments and enjoy creating clarity where there isn't an obvious answer.

• You demonstrate strong ownership and can independently take a design problem from discovery through execution and launch.

• You have strong attention to detail across visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, interaction design, accessibility, and usability.

• You understand when consistency and established patterns matter, while also knowing when a new problem requires the design system to evolve.

• You communicate clearly and can explain your design decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• You are collaborative, open to feedback, and comfortable iterating quickly based on new information.

• You care about building products that are not only visually polished, but also useful, reliable, accessible, and trustworthy.

What success looks like

Within your first six months, you'll:

• Ship meaningful customer-facing product experiences that solve real problems and drive adoption.

• Independently lead complex design initiatives from discovery and problem definition through launch.

• Establish strong partnerships with Product and Engineering and become a trusted design partner for critical product decisions.

• Raise the bar for UX, interaction, and visual design quality across the product.

• Contribute meaningful improvements to the design system and help create scalable design patterns.

• Develop a strong understanding of our customers, their workflows, and the complex enterprise problems JazzX AI is solving.

We're open to hiring at either the Senior Product Designer or Staff Product Designer level.

• Senior Product Designers independently execute complex product initiatives, make strong design decisions, and work effectively with Product and Engineering with strategic guidance.

• Staff Product Designers operate with a high degree of autonomy, bring clarity to ambiguous and complex problems, influence product direction, and raise the quality of design across teams.

• The distinction isn't simply years of experience. It is primarily about the scope of ownership, level of autonomy, strategic influence, and impact you bring to the organization.
