As a Data Analyst with focus for Data & AI at INNIO, you will drive and support the development, implementation, and improvement of INNIO’s data-driven management steering approach. This includes the analysis of large data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, define KPIs and develop sustainable data solutions that support the company’s strategy. At the very heart of this steering approach is the building and continuous development of sustainable data products and analytical foundations, enabling a holistic 360-degree view to answer the key questions: ‘what has happened and why’ and ‘what will happen’ and ‘how can it be actively influenced’.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute data analyses on large and diverse datasets to answer complex business questions and identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
  • Identify relevant data sources, data quality issues, process gaps, and dependencies, and understand how data is generated, structured, connected, and used across INNIO’s data products.
  • Translate business questions and requirements into analytical concepts, data requirements, metrics, and data-driven solutions.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to validate analytical approaches and potential solutions and provide the basis for further technical implementation.
  • Interpret and translate analytical results into actionable insights, clear conclusions, and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, clarify requirements, and challenge assumptions where appropriate to ensure the right business problem is being addressed.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to connect analytical concepts with the further development of data products, reports, and dashboards.

Your Profile

  • Completed university studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Business & Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics or a related analytical field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL and the analysis of large and complex datasets. Knowledge in Databricks is a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding of how data is generated, structured, connected, and processed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. German is a plus.
  • This role requires 50% presence in Jenbach, Austria
