Job Description:

The Compliance and Operational Risk Program Manager is responsible for the execution and oversight of Operational Risk Event Data reporting, risk analytics, Key Risk Indicator (KRI) monitoring, and management, regulatory and legal entity board reporting.  This role provides data-driven insights to support risk identification, risk communication, and risk management activities across the organization. The associate will partner with Operational Risk, Technology, and business stakeholders to maintain reporting processes, enhance data quality, support system improvements, and strengthen the effectiveness of operational risk monitoring and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver executive, management, and risk committee reporting to provide risk transparency and support informed decision-making.
  • Perform risk analytics and reporting to identify trends, emerging risks, and key themes, and deliver insights that support risk management decision-making.
  • Support operational loss data quality governance through reporting, issue tracking, and remediation oversight. 
  • Enhance reporting capabilities through automation, visualization, and continuous process improvement.
  • Support responses to audit, regulatory, and ad-hoc inquiries. 
  • Partner with Technology teams to implement system enhancements and support strategic technology initiatives for operational loss data and reporting platforms.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen operational risk management, analytics, governance, and reporting capabilities. 
  • Provide subject matter expert and guidance to Front Line Units and Control Functions on operational loss data standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders across the enterprise including Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology, and business lines.
  • Support the development and delivery of operational risk and compliance training and awareness programs. 
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess implications to support ongoing compliance and program enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Controls, Data Analytics, or a related financial services discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, including operational loss event management, risk indicators, risk reporting, and governance processes.
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and translating complex data into actionable risk insights and executive-level reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver reporting for senior management, risk committees, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Risk, Technology, Finance, Audit, and Business functions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Operational Loss Data, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Scenario Analysis, or Regulatory Reporting programs.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and industry guidance related to operational risk management.
  • Experience supporting data governance, data quality, or quality control programs.
  • Experience defining business requirements and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) for risk management systems and reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, and business intelligence platforms.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$105,500.00 - $169,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
