About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these into clear, actionable requirements for our development teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, QA engineers, and designers, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
  • Facilitate requirement validation sessions and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Support the development and testing phases by clarifying requirements and addressing any ambiguities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, and training materials.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes and systems.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation using various techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
  • Experience with data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL is a plus.
