Business Analyst to Group Finance Director (Senior Executive)

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare detailed financial reports, management information, dashboards and forecasts for the Group Finance Director’s review
  • Support the Group Finance Director by conducting business analysis and identifying opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation
  • Support in driving group projects ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and track project performance
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Group Finance Director, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items
  • Manage the governance framework for the Group Finance Director’s initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, and SLAs for the functions across the group and analyze data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Stay current on industry trends, economic developments, competitive landscape, and the latest laws, regulations, and financial reporting standards of the countries of operation
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/ or Business Management/ Finance/ Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Professional qualifications in Project Management/Financial Planning & Analysis/ IT/Lean/Six Sigma/CIMA/CA/CFA/ACCA
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, business analysis, project management, and administrative support
  • Proficiency in Generative AI, Excel, financial and data analysis, with experience in Power BI, SQL, and statistical tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, etc.) and financial reporting software
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
