Your Role
- You are responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring product development across the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping to market launch.
- Your primary objective is to deliver the product to customers with the required technical performance, within appropriate timeframes, and in compliance with budget constraints.
- Your additional responsibilities include budget planning, developing timelines, and defining work stages.
- You will interface directly with System Engineering and project managers for hardware and data analytics development.
- You will collaborate with multiple disciplines and coordinate their activities holistically; these include System Engineering, Solutions Architects, Lead System Architects, application developers, Field Support, R&D, and Business Development.
- You will implement management's strategic directives regarding product strategy, processes, and commercial goals.
- You will report regularly to executive management and prepare the necessary dashboards and reports.
Your Profile
- You hold a technical university degree in a STEM field.
- You have relevant professional experience as a product manager for complex systems in mechanical engineering and data analytics.
- You have experience managing large-scale product development projects (annual budget of €5M+).
- You have a solid understanding of business processes, systems, and organizational structures.
- You work in a highly structured manner and possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- You are adept at recognizing and analyzing differing viewpoints while also being able to reach clear decisions quickly—you enjoy making decisions.
- You are a motivator capable of inspiring the team to get on board with your vision.
- You are able to keep a cool head under pressure and work collaboratively with the team to find solutions.
- You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable working in a multicultural team.
