Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the functional ownership, administration, and ongoing support of assigned Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. The position serves as the link between business operations and enterprise technology, collaborating with institutional stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure ERP applications are effectively maintained and support the College's operational needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements* ⦁ Serves as the IT application owner and primary technical liaison for assigned ERP functional areas and modules, maintaining subject matter expert-level knowledge of application functionality, configuration, workflows, integrations, and system dependencies while partnering with functional departments to translate business needs into technology solutions ⦁ Analyzes business requirements and translates them into ERP application solutions; develops functional specifications for configuration, enhancements, integrations, and technical changes while evaluating delivered functionality, enterprise architecture standards, ERP best practices, and downstream system impacts ⦁ Supports ERP configuration, system administration, workflows, business rules, validations, application setup, maintenance, and operational effectiveness ⦁ Troubleshoots complex ERP application issues and coordinates resolution with technical teams and vendors, determining appropriate corrective actions involving configuration, development, vendor support, or business process changes ⦁ Collaborates with architects, developers, integration teams, Identity and Access Management, vendors, and implementation partners to design, integrate, and secure reliable ERP solutions while evaluating impacts across connected systems ⦁ Serves as the IT functional lead for assigned ERP implementation workstreams, including discovery, design, configuration, data conversion, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities ⦁ Develops and executes functional and technical test scenarios for ERP changes, upgrades, patches, integrations, and configuration updates; supports user acceptance testing and validates deployment readiness in partnership with Quality Assurance and Release Management ⦁ Participates in ERP roadmap planning, upgrades, enhancements, vendor-delivered functionality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to support evolving institutional needs ⦁ Collaborates with data teams to support data quality, data governance, data conversion, and ERP application data requirements for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making ⦁ Manages relationships and communications with ERP vendors regarding functionality, issues, enhancements, and best practices; maintains application documentation, configuration records, technical decisions, and support procedures

Service Excellence ⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements ⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) ⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Required Minimum Qualifications:

⦁ Bachelor’s degree and one (1) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ At least one (1) years working experience supporting ERP implementation workstreams across discovery, design, configuration, conversion, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support ⦁ At least one (1) years working experience working with ERP vendors, implementation partners, technical teams, and institutional stakeholders ⦁ At least one (1) years working experience defining functional specifications for configuration, enhancements, integrations, or technical changes ⦁ At least one (1) years working experience supporting data quality, data governance, data conversion, and reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Knowledge of enterprise applications and ERP systems, including application configuration, workflows, system functionality, integrations, security, and data relationships ⦁ Knowledge of ERP implementation, upgrade, enhancement, testing, release, and operational support practices ⦁ Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, technical design principles, and best practices for aligning ERP solutions with institutional objectives ⦁ Knowledge of application data requirements, data quality practices, reporting dependencies, and data governance concepts ⦁ Skilled in translating business processes and requirements into technical application solutions and functional specifications ⦁ Skilled in analyzing system behavior, troubleshooting complex application issues, and coordinating resolution with technical teams and vendors ⦁ Skilled in supporting configuration decisions, system administration activities, application maintenance, testing, and deployment readiness ⦁ Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills ⦁ Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365 platform ⦁ Ability to collaborate effectively with functional departments, technical teams, vendors, implementation partners, and institutional stakeholders ⦁ Ability to assess downstream impacts across ERP modules, integrations, data, security, reporting, and related enterprise systems ⦁ Ability to balance business needs with technical standards, ERP best practices, quality standards, and long-term supportability ⦁ Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization ⦁ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders ⦁ Ability to identify routine and complex issues and escalate non-standard problems using established procedures in a fast-paced work environment ⦁ Ability to review complex information and follow policies, procedures, and guidelines when completing assigned tasks ⦁ Ability to coordinate assigned work and communicate effectively with faculty and staff to support campus and departmental operations ⦁ Ability to maintain a high level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality and discretion with sensitive and confidential information
