Software Engineer – Android Automotive

What we're looking for

We work with customers developing automotive software solutions, including infotainment systems and connected vehicle platforms, and regularly look for experienced Android Automotive Developers to support both ongoing and upcoming projects.

We are particularly interested in professionals with strong Android development experience, including Java and Kotlin, as well as familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, and modern software development practices.

Required qualifications

• Several years of experience in Android software development

• Strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin

• Experience developing Android applications or customer-facing functionality

• Experience working with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or other embedded Android environments

• Experience with test automation and software quality assurance, preferably using Python

• Good knowledge of Git, Linux, and modern development workflows

• Experience working with large and complex codebases

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development tooling

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Continuous improvement mindset and passion for software quality

• Basic understanding of C++ and platform-level software architecture

Meritorious experience

It will be considered a strong advantage if you have experience with:

• Automotive infotainment systems

• Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and AOSP development

• Android profile management and multi-user frameworks

• Android version upgrades and platform migrations

• Vehicle-level troubleshooting and fault tracing

• Software development within the automotive industry
