Project Manager – Dallas, TX

*Candidate must be local to the the DFW or open to relocating.

Koester Construction is expanding! With a growing project volume in the Dallas area, we are hoping to launch our first regional office and are seeking a skilled Project Manager to help lead the charge. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to help build and manage our Dallas operations while delivering high-quality commercial construction projects. Senior office or field construction industry professionals encouraged to apply. Strong technical construction knowledge required.

Position Overview

This Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing successful commercial construction projects in Dallas, TX and surrounding area. As the first leader of our regional office, this role offers a unique opportunity to establish our local presence, develop relationships with subcontractors and clients, and build a high-preforming team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Develop and manage relationships with local subcontractors, architects, and clients.
  • Ensure project success by managing schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor other staff members.
  • Facilitate project meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively to keep projects on track.
  • Uphold Koester Construction’s values and high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, coaching, and mentoring
  • Expert knowledge in construction means, methods, and techniques
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)
  • Proven ability to manage projects budgets and control costs effectively
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate with diverse project teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-starter mentality with the drive to help build and grow our new regional office
