DevOps Engineer

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a major public-sector IT environment responsible for critical systems.

You will act as a bridge between development and operations, collaborating with system and train architects, development teams, and operations specialists to analyse existing environments, recommend improvements, and establish reliable development, test and production environments.

The role involves infrastructure automation, system configuration, deployments, platform upgrades, certificate renewals and lifecycle management across Linux- and Windows-based systems.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

▪️ Design, maintain and improve build environments and CI/CD pipelines

▪️ Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments

▪️ Analyse existing IT environments and establish missing structures

▪️ Manage platform upgrades, certificates and system configurations

▪️ Work with development, test and production environments

▪️ Improve observability, system reliability and operational consistency

▪️ Align systems and infrastructure with the wider IT architecture

▪️ Collaborate effectively within an agile SAFe/DevOps environment

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

✅ At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role

✅ At least 2 years of experience with build environments and CI/CD

✅ At least 2 years of experience with configuration management

✅ At least 2 years of experience working in Linux environments

✅ At least 1 year of experience working in Windows environments

✅ Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments

✅ Willingness and ability to work on-site in Stockholm at least 3 days per week

✅ Strong collaboration, communication and organisational skills

✅ A security-conscious and responsible approach to handling sensitive information

𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀

• CI/CD & Build: Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Develocity

• Configuration Management: Puppet, Ansible

• Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, Grafana

• Operating Systems: RHEL, Linux, Windows

• Security & Platform Management: SELinux, Red Hat Satellite

Experience with several of these tools and technologies is highly desirable.
