As a Sr. Systems Analyst - Corporate Apps, you will analyze business requirements; analyze, design, develop and test of enhancements to IT systems with a heavy focus on Infor FSM Cloudsuite tools and provide systems support.
What you’ll do:
Solicit, assess and prioritize user requests for system enhancements. Write business and technical requirements for development
- Discuss desired changes with business units and prepare business and technical requirements accordingly
- Architect and define sustainable and scalable solutions for design, development and implementation
- Oversee development and implementation of system enhancements, inclusive of internal as well as third party resources
Act as the technical point of contact for a broad range of topics from users, ranging from simple to complex
- Analyze and validate user errors or issues
- Perform root cause analysis
- Provide response and/or resolution to issues, engaging IT resources as needed
- Work with external vendors to support integration builds
Build new, modify and support existing integrations
- Review programmer specs
- Strategize on approach to align best case solution with requirements
- Test new or modified application functionality, verifying business and technical requirements. Work with business leads to complete user acceptance testing
- Perform tests to avoid performance issues, including any effects from system development
- Provide ongoing support to ensure integrations continue to meet business needs
Implement reporting tools and analysis to support site governance and provide business owners with analytics
Create and maintain technical documentation including: support knowledge base, data sources, data flows, application logic, enhancement/issue logs, hardware/software architecture, Information architecture, Standard Operating Procedures, DR plan, and other project documents
Follow and research industry trends and performs best-practice research to support project goals
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Science or Business
- 3+ years’ experience with Infor OS application and data tools including:
- IPA (Infor Process Automation)
- Infor ION
- LPL (Landmark Pattern Language)
- Infor OS Data Fabric
- Ability to interact with and influence IT and business stakeholders
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong documentation skills and analytically oriented
- SQL programming skills
- Experience with application programming frameworks (APIs, JSON, XML, etc…), database systems (SQL Server, DB2)
