Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Devon PA.

The role:
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities for plant cost centres, including headcount and people costs.
- Provide timely variance analysis, cost reporting and forecasting insights throughout the month-end close process.
- Deliver clear management reporting on production and overhead costs, including Monthly Operating Report submissions.
- Partner with plant operations and finance stakeholders to identify trends, risks and opportunities through detailed analysis.
- Review production costs, standard cost allocations and cost variances to support improved business performance.
- Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and technical teams to support accurate financial reporting.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- University degree qualification and a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong experience in management accounting, cost analysis and financial planning within manufacturing.
- Understanding of production costing, variance analysis and financial performance drivers.
- Ability to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders and provide actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience within the chemicals, automotive or related industrial sectors would be advantageous.
