Precise Systems is seeking a Command and Control (C2) Integration and Network Engineer to support the NSWC Crane Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division. The engineer will support integration of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems with shipboard C2 and information-system environments, including network architecture, interface definition, cybersecurity coordination, lab integration, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. The successful candidate will work across engineering, cybersecurity, shipboard-system, program-office, and In-Service Engineering Agent teams to develop secure and supportable integration solutions.
This role requires in-person support.
Duties:
- Support integration of EW systems with shipboard Command and Control and information-system environments.
- Develop integration approaches for exchanging EW data, tracks, logs, software updates, configuration files, and other mission-relevant information.
- Assess shipboard network environments, including CANES or comparable systems, to identify approved data-transfer and connectivity pathways.
- Define and document protocols, message formats, data flows, communication boundaries, hardware/software interfaces, and interoperability requirements.
- Analyze routing, switching, segmentation, addressing, ports, services, timing, and network-performance requirements for integrated systems.
- Support integration of IP-based and non-IP-based systems, proprietary interfaces, sensors, RF systems, and other mission-specific data sources.
- Coordinate cybersecurity, RMF, ATO, classification-boundary, and cross-domain considerations with technical authorities and cybersecurity personnel.
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot representative lab and shipboard network environments used for integration, verification, and test.
- Develop interface documentation, architecture descriptions, project plans, technical briefings, risk summaries, status updates, and engineering recommendations.

Desired Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree based on customer requirements.
Desired Experience:
- 3+ years professional experience.
- Experience supporting network or system-integration projects involving complex, tactical, shipboard, DoD, or mission systems.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, layers, routing, switching, addressing, data transport, message formatting, and interface design.
- Experience designing or standing up networked environments, including planning, configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Experience modifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting existing networked environments.
- Experience integrating non-IP or proprietary communication systems into IP-based network environments.
- Ability to define interface requirements, hardware needs, data flows, message structures, cybersecurity constraints, and integration dependencies with technical SMEs.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, project plans, briefings, status reports, interface descriptions, and engineering recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across large multidisciplinary technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Navy shipboard systems, tactical networks, C2 systems, CANES, CEC, or other Navy combat-system information environments.
- Experience with EW systems, RF systems, tactical data systems, or systems that generate, process, or exchange mission data and tracks.
- Experience supporting RMF, ATO packages, STIG reviews, vulnerability scans, cybersecurity documentation, or system authorization activities.
- Experience with network integration labs, hardware-in-the-loop environments, sensors, tactical data systems, or test infrastructure.
- Familiarity with interface-control documentation, configuration management, engineering changes, and In-Service Engineering Agent support.
- Experience supporting software updates, patching, log transfer, data extraction, or maintenance workflows in secure DoD environments.
- Experience supporting Navy, NAVSEA, NSWC Crane, or other DoD acquisition, engineering, test, or sustainment organizations.
