Full description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in the United States.

The Senior Product Designer will shape a new generation of AI-powered products that transform organizational and culture data into actionable intelligence. You will design experiences that help leaders understand engagement, team health, and workplace culture through rich data and emerging AI capabilities. This is a highly creative, 0-to-1 role where established design patterns may not exist and you’ll help invent what comes next. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering leaders to define what should be built, why it matters, and how it should work. The role spans research, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and implementation, with a strong emphasis on exceptional craft. You’ll bring a consumer-quality sensibility to B2B software, using visual storytelling, motion, illustration, and thoughtful interaction to make complex products intuitive. This is a fully remote opportunity for a designer who thrives in ambiguity and wants to help define how AI-native products should feel.

Accountabilities:

  • Design AI-powered culture intelligence products from the ground up, including organizational health dashboards, collaboration maps, engagement insights, and other data-rich experiences.
  • Shape product strategy alongside product and engineering partners, helping identify customer problems, define opportunities, prioritize ideas, and determine what should be built.
  • Own the end-to-end design process, from research and information architecture through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and implementation.
  • Translate complex organizational and behavioral data into experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and trustworthy without oversimplifying the underlying information.
  • Establish and evolve design patterns for emerging AI-powered experiences where established conventions may not yet exist.
  • Bring a distinctive visual perspective to the product through layout, typography, illustration, motion, interaction details, and polished visual craft.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers throughout development, contributing to implementation details and refining experiences through to launch.
  • Move quickly in ambiguous environments, knowing when to explore a new concept from scratch and when to improve an existing direction.
  • Experiment with AI-native interaction models and determine how an AI companion can provide proactive, conversational, and contextually useful experiences without becoming intrusive.
  • Use AI tools as part of the design workflow while applying strong judgment about where automation adds value and where human creativity, taste, and decision-making are essential.
  • Contribute to the broader design community through collaboration, critique, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional design initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional product design experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, interaction design, visual design, and product craftsmanship.
  • Proven experience designing 0-to-1 products, particularly in environments where you have had to create new interaction models or design patterns.
  • Experience designing AI-powered products or AI-native experiences, with a strong understanding of the opportunities and limitations of emerging AI technologies.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex, data-rich problems into clear and intuitive user experiences without hiding meaningful complexity.
  • Exceptional visual design skills and a creative point of view that extends beyond clean, functional interfaces.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in areas such as illustration, motion design, branding, visual storytelling, or creative side projects.
  • Strong consumer-product sensibility and an ability to make B2B software feel engaging, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, influence product direction, and bring cross-functional partners along.
  • Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and taking ownership from initial concept through implementation.
  • Curiosity about AI both as a product category and as a set of tools that can reshape the design process.
  • Experience with data visualization, analytics products, culture technology, HR technology, or related products is a plus.
  • Experience designing conversational interfaces or AI-native products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with prototyping in code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React is a plus, as is a willingness to develop these skills.
  • Comfortable working effectively within a fully distributed, remote team and participating in occasional team travel.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: $125,000–$180,000 USD per year for remote positions based in the United States.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Direct design leadership from an experienced product and design executive.
  • Opportunity to work on emerging AI-powered products at the intersection of design, data, and workplace culture.
  • Significant ownership over 0-to-1 product development and the opportunity to establish new design conventions.
  • Collaborative environment connecting product, engineering, design, and marketing professionals.
  • Weekly creative sessions and opportunities for collaborative experimentation.
  • Design guild bringing product and marketing designers together for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Regular opportunities for team play sessions and intentional team travel.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in AI-native interaction design, data visualization, and generative interfaces.
  • A culture that values creativity, design judgment, experimentation, and high-quality product craft.
