Summary AV seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to lead enterprise Salesforce architecture, integrations, forecasting, analytics, Field Service capabilities, quality assurance, and production support for a growing defense and aerospace organization. This role will own end-to-end Salesforce solutions that establish consistent business logic and process pathways across the enterprise while improving visibility into demand, pipeline, orders, bookings, and future-year performance.
Position Responsibilities
- Platform architecture and governance: Define and enforce a single source of truth for business logic, data models, and process flows across Sales and Service applications.
- Forecasting and pipeline management: Translate forecasting rules into deterministic system logic, maintain pipeline hygiene, and produce reconciled forecasts for leadership.
- Integrations and data pipelines: Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of resilient integrations between Salesforce and systems such as Fusion, Hyperion, other ERP platforms, data warehouses, logistics systems, and mission systems.
- Reporting, BI, and analytics: Build governed reporting layers, dashboards, and data extracts for BI tools to support executive, program, and finance analytics; identify opportunities to improve decision-making through automation, analytics, and actionable performance insights.
- Quality assurance and testing: Lead unit, integration, and automated regression testing; own release validation and rollback plans.
- Data analysis and root cause: Investigate anomalies, perform RCA, and implement preventive controls and data‑quality rules.
- Service cloud and field operations: Expand and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service capabilities for Customer Success and Field Operations teams.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and standard Salesforce development tools.
- Experience building enterprise integrations (MuleSoft, iPaaS, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, data pipelines, or analytics solutions.
- Strong QA experience including automated testing and release management.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required government background checks or clearances as needed. This role supports defense contracts.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II; Architect certifications preferred.
- Experience with Agentforce, Salesforce AI capabilities, Tableau Next, CPQ, quoting, demand planning, or advanced Salesforce automation.
- Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud, FedRAMP, or DoD IL security controls.
- Prior work on defense or federal programs and familiarity with air‑gapped or constrained environments.

The salary range for this role is:
$80,500 - $123,000
