ADP is hiring a Business Intelligence, Manager for the HR Outsourcing (HRO) Analytics organization (Individual Contributor). We’re looking for a manager with experience in business intelligence, creating easy to interpret visualizations, and the ability to tell the story through presentations that make data come to life through actionable insights. This role is an individual contributor who supports leaders to make more data-driven decisions. The BI Manager will report to the Director of Data Analytics.

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Learn business processes and requirements to more effectively generate insights and visualizations 
  • Develop visualizations and generate insights that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Interact with business partners to confirm data for accuracy as needed
  • Adhere to BI best practices to maintain the trusted HRO Analytics brand
  • Design, develop, and implement intuitive dashboards designed for easy consumption by business
  • Coach business partners on how to utilize dashboards

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline such as Business Management, Finance, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or technical/business related fields
  • 4+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Advanced proficiency in executing ETL processes with little to no supervision using a combination of SQL, Python, and/or Alteryx
  • Experience accessing and working with large data sources/models
  • Strong business acumen through presentation and visualization skills as well as generating insights
  • Technical expertise in database development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Expert skills in trend analysis, root cause analysis, and segmentation analysis
  • Advanced skills in Exploratory Data Analysis
  • Proficient skills in Prescriptive Analysis and Hypothesis Testing
  • Excellent communication and story-telling skills with ability to present complex concepts to management, team members and non-technical audiences in a simple, easy to understand way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Feel very comfortable operating in ambiguity and in a “start-up” environment
  • Proactive self-starter requiring minimal guidance with ability to meet deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment

 

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in analytics, MBA, or similar field
  • Technology or management consulting experience from MBB/Big4 or Fortune 500 company
  • Change management and large-scale transformation experience
  • Advanced competency in SQL with ability to perform joins, unions, subqueries, and use CTEs
  • Experience working in Agile teams preferred
