About the Role

Arrise Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our DevOps team. This role involves infrastructure provisioning automation, configuration management, tool administration, production system support, application environment maintenance, observability, and internal tool development. You will collaborate with senior architects to design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions and take ownership of AWS architecture and deployment activities end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior architects to design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions based on AWS best practices.
  • Implement and configure AWS services according to architectural designs, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud components.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard cloud environments across all AWS architecture and deployment activities.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability, implementing monitoring and automation tools to optimize AWS infrastructure and applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Partner with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on AWS best practices.

Key Skills

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Datacenter, or similar cloud/on-premises platforms.
  • Linux administration and troubleshooting of Java applications in production environments.
  • Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or an equivalent qualification.
  • 8–11 years in software engineering, designing, developing, and operating robust and scalable cloud infrastructure services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and orchestration technologies (e.g., GitHub, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of enterprise/AWS cloud networking (firewalls, WAFs, network segregation, VPNs, network ACLs, identity and access management).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, risk management, and incident response methodologies.
  • Advanced shell scripting and scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
  • Experience with startups and fast-paced environments.
