Role Summary

Senior mobile engineering specialist with extensive experience designing, developing, modernising, and supporting large-scale iOS, Android, and React Native applications. Responsible for end-to-end mobile solution delivery, architecture, engineering standards, CI/CD implementation, code quality, application security, and mentoring development teams. Possesses strong expertise in both native mobile development and cross-platform mobile engineering, with experience delivering solutions across financial services, healthcare, government, telecommunications, and digital product organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build

scalable mobile applications using React Native, iOS, and Android technologies.

  • Lead development teams

through architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

  • Deliver end-to-end

mobile application lifecycle management including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Drive mobile

modernisation initiatives, framework upgrades, and platform enhancements.

  • Implement secure mobile

engineering practices including application hardening, SSL pinning, secure authentication, and compliance controls.

  • Establish and maintain

CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile release processes.

  • Integrate mobile

applications with REST APIs, backend services, authentication platforms, and third-party SDKs.

  • Conduct code reviews,

mentor developers, and promote engineering quality and delivery excellence.

  • Collaborate with product

owners, architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams in Agile environments.
