The role! This is an exciting role for any person looking continue a career in networking and security technologies. It will involve interaction with some of the country’s leading technical architects and design engineers in the Cisco, Aruba and Juniper arenas currently working for Conscia Ireland
Development within the technology fields will be encouraged and supported from management and fellow engineers and obvious progression will be rewarded. This will include hands on interaction with senior engineers on staging their project equipment as well as formal technical training and certification. The Networking Project Team is located in Dublin from where we support our customer base. This involves secure remote access to the customer infrastructure to allow configuration and troubleshooting their network projects and incidents.

- Full Irish or European Driving license.
- Ability to work as an Individual and as part of a Team depending on the assigned project
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering or related bachelor’s degree.
- Qualifications must in be Cisco, Aruba, Juniper and other technical qualifications in major vendor technologies at Professional Level
- Experience working in a ITIL service environment
- Previous Experience in Customer Project Rollouts such as Lan, WAN, Wireless and Switching Networks
- Familiarity with use of Wireless Design and Survey Tools
- Implementation of Cisco, Aruba and Juniper LAN, Wan and Wireless Projects
- Support customers’ Juniper and Aruba network / security environments
- Provide first and second level support for all reported incidents
- Incident management from initial customer engagement to resolution ensuring adherence to SLA’s. Troubleshooting of such incidents utilizing vendor partners for technical assistance and other team members.
- Escalation of issues to more senior team members and vendor partners
- Perform daily health checks on specific customer networks formulating technical reports for customer review
- Take ownership for management of these technical environments. Patch management, preventative maintenance of internal IT infrastructure and troubleshooting any infrastructure changes and incidents
- Ensuring all managed services RMM tools are operating correctly and efficiently is a secure configuration
- Offer opinion on the improvement and enhancement of project related processes
- Participate in Support Activity including 24x7on call Roster
Other Responsibilities:
- Incident management ensuring all incidents logged within the system, are done so in in accordance with incidence management process
- Liaise with manufacturer TAC support teams during customer incidents
