About the job
As Data Analyst - AI Tagging & Analytics Enablement within our Web Analytics & AI Insights team, you'll support the day-to-day implementation of analytics and media tracking tags using AI-assisted tools, making tagging work faster and more consistent. You'll be the go-to contact for General Medicine (GenMed) website analytics demand, performing analysis, implementing media tagging, and building dashboards that give stakeholders self-service visibility into performance. Ready to get started?
This role sits within Sanofi's Digital organization, embedded in the Web Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) — a team dedicated to scaling data-driven decision-making across a global portfolio of 400+ websites. You'll work at the intersection of analytics execution, AI-assisted tooling, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting both GenMed brand teams and the broader digital analytics community.
About Sanofi
We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.
Main responsibilities
- GenMed Demand Intake Support (~10%): Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for GenMed website analytics and media tagging requests — triaging incoming demand, performing the underlying data analysis to size and prioritize requests, implementing media tagging (including UTMs and campaign parameters via Google Tag Manager), and building and maintaining dashboards that give GenMed brand and marketing stakeholders self-service visibility into performance.
- AI-Assisted Tag Implementation (~35%): Implement analytics and media tracking tags via Google Tag Manager (GTM) in line with defined taxonomy and governance standards; use and help refine AI Tagging Agent natural-language-to-tag workflows; run quality checks on agent-generated tags before publication; and support tagging rollouts across the broader site portfolio alongside the wider team.
- AI-Assisted Performance Analysis & Reporting (~35%): Use AI-assisted reporting tools to answer stakeholder questions about web and digital media performance; pull and organize data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4), BigQuery, and Power BI to support recurring and ad hoc reporting; summarize performance trends and flag anomalies for review; and contribute to documentation of AI-assisted analysis workflows for reuse across brands.
- Governance & Collaboration (~20%): Follow the team's GTM tagging taxonomy and naming conventions, flagging inconsistencies for correction; coordinate with Privacy & Consent and AI Insights workstreams on tagging that touches consent or data governance; participate in training on new AI tagging and analysis tools; and maintain clear working documentation of requests handled and issues resolved.
