Overview

WakeMed is seeking a Systems Analyst II, Home Health to support the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Information Services, operational departments, end users, and vendors to ensure technology solutions effectively support patient care and business operations.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical skills, Epic application experience, and a passion for improving workflows and system performance.

Key Responsibilities Application Build & Change Management (40%)

Analyze customer requirements and implement application enhancements and system changes.
Configure, test, validate, and support Epic applications.
Lead change requests and application optimization initiatives.

Workflow Analysis & System Design (20%)

Analyze department workflows, reporting needs, and operational processes.
Recommend and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
Apply best practices to system design and lifecycle management.

Tier 2 Application Support (20%)

Provide high-quality Tier 2 support for assigned applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and workflow issues.
Collaborate with users, technical teams, and vendors to identify and implement solutions.

Documentation & Education (10%)

Maintain documentation for application changes and support processes.
Educate team members and stakeholders on system updates and enhancements.

Reporting Support (10%)

Develop report specifications and partner with report developers to support operational and regulatory reporting needs.
Ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 3 years of Information Technology Systems Analysis experience.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
Experience supporting enterprise software applications.

Preferred Education:

Associate degree in Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:

Epic Certification in area of responsibility.
Relevant clinical, technical, or professional certification/licensure.
