Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Project/Program Manager to manage critical infrastructure upgrades for Machine Learning (ML) capabilities across a portfolio of projects. In this strategic role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle for these high-density data centre deployments, with a specialised focus on implementing advanced liquid cooling solutions and electrical infrastructure upgrades. You will need to coordinate across multiple projects, with oversight from contractor selection through final commissioning.
You will be expected to leverage AI-powered tools in your daily tasks to optimise project data analysis, automate reporting, and enhance decision-making speed. Acting as a multi-project lead, you will manage several concurrent deployments, championing the standardisation of delivery approaches and ensuring that lessons learned from one site are effectively implemented across the entire program.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:

- Multi-Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of ML-focused upgrades across multiple concurrent sites, ensuring seamless integration of liquid cooling systems and high-density electrical power systems.
- Standardization & Optimization: Define and champion standardised project delivery methodologies. Document and socialise lessons learned across the program to drive continuous improvement in project execution and quality.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, contractor management, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and fibre infrastructure upgrades.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups, including MEP engineering, Data Center Operations, and supply chain teams to align project timelines and business requirements.
- Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, manage change order processes, and ensure logistical alignment of materials (e.g., CDUs) to meet critical project schedules.
- Commissioning & Handover: Lead the coordination of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commissioning works up to completion, ensuring quality standards are met before transitioning to operations.
- AI-Enhanced Reporting: Utilize AI tools to maintain portfolio-level visibility, streamline administrative tasks, and provide accurate forecasting for senior leadership.
Requirements:

- Proven of experience in data centre construction, fit-out and/ or commissioning environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Data Centre MEP systems, (experience with liquid-to-liquid cooling is an advantage, but not required).
- Problem Solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to pivot strategies in response to dynamic project variables, supply chain constraints, or site-specific challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical issues into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.Organisation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple information sources, integrated schedules, and complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs.
