Job Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Radiant, you'll be a hands-on technical leader at the heart of our engineering organisation, owning the design, delivery, and reliability of our most critical infrastructure. You'll drive the automation and continuous improvement of our deployment pipelines, cloud and bare metal environments, and Kubernetes-based orchestration layer — ensuring our platform scales reliably to support high-performance AI and GPU workloads.

You'll set the standard for engineering excellence, partnering with Platform, SRE and Product Engineering teams to align on strategy, shape technical direction, and embed a true DevOps culture across the organisation. Championing infrastructure as code, observability, and a bias toward automation at every layer of the stack, you'll influence design decisions and cross-team ways of working that raise the bar for how we build and operate systems at scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, build, and continuously optimise CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to support fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery
  • Own and evolve Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring infrastructure is version-controlled, peer-reviewed, and consistently provisioned across dev, staging, and production
  • Manage and maintain hosted application environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and smooth deployment of services into production
  • Partner closely with Go engineers to deeply understand their development workflows and release processes, identifying and removing friction points that slow delivery
  • Own and continuously improve the observability stack — from instrumenting services with logging, metrics, and tracing, to building dashboards, alerts, and runbooks that enable proactive detection and faster resolution
  • Measure and improve the developer experience, improving productivity
  • Responsible for continuous delivery pipeline for build & deployment
  • Streamline and standardise the release process for Go services, working with engineering teams to implement versioning strategies, automated testing gates, and progressive delivery patterns such as canary or blue-green deployments
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across the software development lifecycle, reducing the time between a commit and a production deployment without compromising quality or stability
  • Champion a self-service DevOps culture, enabling development teams to own their deployments and operational concerns through well-designed tooling, documentation, and guardrails

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in DevOps engineering and best practices
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm and other containerisation related tooling
  • Demonstrable scripting ability in Python, Shell and ansible
  • Strong knowledge of branching, deployment strategies including the use of Git based version control
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows, observability, security and automation best practices
