Full description
- Assume full ownership of all spares, transfer, and NSO orders from inception to shipment support.
- Utilize NOV Shortage Report and/or OSIRIS report to track all spares orders to ensure supply is covered within time period set by committed ship date of order entry
- Define, manage, and execute planning, budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables, contract modifications, and customer updates. Escalate risks to timelines, budgets, or KPIs as needed.
- Ensure all requisitions for Make/Buy items are planned and released within time period set by KPI metrics
- Drive alignment between the Master Schedule and the project plan by providing schedule insights, identifying risks, and supporting mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless order processing through effective collaboration across all departments and functions.
- Ensure customer requirements, scope changes, and delivery risks are communicated across the organization.
- Responsible for organizing and leading weekly project status meetings. Provide regular project updates to internal teams, customers, and management, including status reports, change orders, issues, solutions, and action plans.
- Maintain continuous awareness of project status and provide updates to leadership and sales upon request.
- Interact with customers during design and post-sales phases to resolve project challenges and respond to inquiries.
- Assist the sales team with new order cost and delivery quotations collaborating with engineering, planning, and procurement as needed. Support Aftermarket Quoting/Estimate process with component pricing
- Track and improve KPIs including forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, lead-time performance, and on-time delivery. Lead schedule review meetings, prepare ERP-based reports, and recommend best practices leveraging Lean, DDOM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent NOV professionally in all communications and external interactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, HSE standards, and support process requirements.
- Possess authority and access across organizational levels to facilitate project execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, production control, planning, purchasing or manufacturing.
- A firm understanding of blueprints, machining, fabrication, and raw materials is preferable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required (Excel, Teams, Word), Oracle ERP knowledge a plus.
- APICS CPIM or PMP certification is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem resolution, and motivational skills are necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Professional, confident, and diplomatic interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability, with the capacity to anticipate and adapt to change. Team-oriented with a positive, ethical, and motivating approach.
